Bay City High School Crunk Squad - Chevy Spotlight
Sounds Full: Band music and fans cheering. Soundbite: It's just fun and intense, we get crunk for the football team, I like showing them that we are here for them, and no matter what we're gonna be here yelling for them. Sound Full: Crunk Squad started before I was in high school, 2006 or 2007 the motivation was in memory of Tyler Farrar and he was the kicker for the Bay City Black Cats and he passed away of cancer. We do paint up before the games mainly painting up and making as much noise as possible, we make shakers we put rocks and beads, and we have noise makers and megaphones that the cheerleaders kindly donate to us to use and we try to raise as much spirit and energy as possible for the football players. We have flags that spell BCHS with big Black Cats we run them at the open of the game, at half time whenever we score. I have a few underclassmen that I show how to do things so that when we leave that they keep the tradition going. Sound Full: Cheering One of our big rules is to not sit down which is mainly all we're worried about is not sitting down, get the energy up at all times the entirety of it is just to get not only the student section pumped up for the game but the audience as a whole, cause if you have a dead audience you have a dead football team. Cheerleaders Sound Full Go Cats Go!
