Alief Taylor Lions vs. Elsik Rams - 2013-14 Boys Basketball - 01/21/14

Similar to football, Alief Taylor's outstanding wide receiver duo of Romello Brooker who is headed to the U of H, and future Oklahoma State Cowboy Keenan Brown have the Lions in the thick of the basketball playoff hunt in 18-5A. They traveled to Elsik on Tuesday night. Taylor on the break, up ahead to Brown for a 7 point lead, Brown was in double figures with 10 points. Early in the fourth the Lions get some cushion. Kaylim Doster up to Brooker and it's a 56-45 Taylor lead, Brooker led Taylor with 15 points. But Elsik's Joshua Bradford cans the 3 pointer, to spark a 7-0 Rams run and get within 4, Bradford led all scorers with 20 points. Doster takes matters into his own hands, going coast to coast and Taylor wins 70-62.
